What is FIT OPS?


Our FIT OPS courses are a chance for you to workout in a group setting with an instructor as you journey towards personal and common goals. Working out with a group has been proven to improve performance and commitment - it is also proven to foster long lasting friendships!


During your classs your instructor will assess your technique and ensure you are maximising your potential during your workout.


Each PT Central FIT OPS course runs for 6 weeks with 2 sessions per week during gym prime time (6am & 6pm).


PT Central FIT OPS has been developed by PT Central gym owner Leroy de Beer. He draws on his years as a Military Physical Training Instructor, extensive study and experience in the health and fitness sector and time as an instructor at the NZDF PT School to incorporate the ideals of commitment and comradeship into an ever changing, exciting program for you and your crew.

Because Leroy develops the programs himself and he is the one overseeing your course he has the knowledge and flexibility to truly ensure all members of your crew can reach their potential and find their own strength.


FIT OPS FIT 2 FIGHT is scheduled for 6am Tuesday and Friday

FIT OPS FIT 4 RESILIENCE is scheduled for 6am Monday and Wednesday

FIT OPS FIT 4 PURPOSE is scheduled for 6pm Tuesday and Thursday

FIT OPS FIT 4 FUNCTION is scheduled for 10.15am Tuesday and Thursday


FIT OPS courses come in many shapes and forms to suit everyone!

 

PT CENTRAL FIT OPS

 

FIT 4 PURPOSE

A 6 week course aimed at those who want to improve their current level of fitness and well being.


FIT 4 PURPOSE focuses on training methodologies that will improve muscular endurance, strength and cardiorespiratory fitness to tackle life head on everyday.


These courses can be adapted for beginner, intermediate or advanced levels.


Course details:

Duration: 6 Weeks

Time: 6pm Tuesday and Thursday


Cost:

Member - $100

Non Member - $200 (full gym access included for the 6 weeks, incl Les Mills Group Fitness)

Also included for members and non members - METCON Crew Training, 6pm Mon & Wed

FIT 4 RESILIENCE

A 6 week course aimed at those who want to challenge their mental toughness and physical ability.


FIT 4 RESILIENCE focuses on HIIT, General Endurance, Push/Pull/Lift/Carry, aerobic/anaerobic styles of physical training.


This 6 week course will teach you to be mentally and physically resilient.


Course details:

Duration: 6 Weeks

Time: 6am Monday and Wednesday


Cost:

Member - $100

Non Member - $200 (full gym access included for the 6 weeks, incl Les Mills Group Fitness)

Also included for members and non members - METCON Crew Training , 6pm Mon & Wed

FIT 2 FIGHT


A 6 week course aimed at those who want to improve their current level of fitness and well being.

FIT 4 FUNCTION

Our FIT 4 FUNCTION classes are designed to promote joint movement, stability and over all well-being.

These classes are endorsed by Live Stronger For Longer and ACC


The sessions focus on balance, forward/side movement and encourage proper placement of feet,situational awareness and reaction time. Resistance training is incorporated to increase muscular strength, aid with balance and improve over-all function.  

The sessions are lots of fun and also allow for a bit of banter and a few laughs.

Our classes cater to the individual and can be adapted to work around injury, disability, long term conditions and/or illness.
